No, however, we recommend you purchase personal health and travel insurance.

No, they are not included and can pay paid at border.

The VIP Service is a provision run by the staff at the borders to enable faster crossing. The service includes “VIP” waiting rooms, assistance with immigration, security and luggage; plus a private van shuttle between the terminals. Usually, clients go to the front of any queues. The VIP service can save lots of frustration, speed up the crossing considerably (especially when the border is busy) and allow it to be done more comfortably. Crossing from Jerusalem to Jordan, using the VIP service means you normally get through the border in 1 hour (without, it can be up to 4 hours on a busy day). Please note, the VIP service doesn’t mean you get less checks, and you still may have to wait if the authorities want to ask you any questions. Please let us know if you would like to use the service, as this affects the timing of the onward transportation.

Visa – A visa on arrival is available for almost 140 nationalities.

Jordan issues a single-entry visa to most travellers upon their arrival at the airport or at one of the shared crossing points with Israel, that is of course in case your nationality does not require a pre-issued visa and you plan to stay in Jordan for a minimum of 48 hours. To check if you need a pre-arranged visa or not. For more details click here.

Jordan Pass – The Jordan Pass is a travel package that includes the cost of the visa plus many attractions in the country, including Petra. It is really worth it. Learn more about it here.

The Israeli state authorities control all entries to and exits from Israel / Palestine. Citizens of most western countries can get a visa upon arrival at Ben Gurion Airport, Eilat Airport, King Hussein/ Allenby Bridge, Sheikh Hussein/ Jordan River Crossing or Wadi Araba/ Yitzhak Rabin Crossing. If you need to apply for a visa in advance then you must do so at an Israeli Embassy, usually the one in your home country. You can find out whether you are eligible to a visa upon arrival or need to apply beforehand here.
This visa is usually valid for 3-months.

Please note: Israel sometimes has a policy of giving visas to Palestinian Authority areas only. If you get one of these visas, you are not allowed to visit Jerusalem or Israel. If you want to avoid that, make sure that you state you want to visit Israel and Jerusalem if asked where you plan to visit when obtaining your visa.

Please note: On some occasions, Israel has refused entry to travelers of Arab ethnicity or Muslim religion, or those deemed to be activists supporting Palestinian causes. If you fall in these groups, it is also likely that you will experience a delay at the border and face extensive questioning.
